"Love Me Over again" is a hit song past English vocalizer John Newman. The song was released as a digital download in Europe on 17 May 2013, except for the Britain where it was released on 30 June 2013 equally the lead single from his debut studio album, Tribute (2013). The vocal was written by Newman and Steve Booker and produced by Booker and Mike Spencer. The song was later featured on the soundtrack for video game FIFA 14.
It was nominated for the Brit Honor for British Single of the Year at the 2014 BRIT Awards[ane] and nominated for the 2014 Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically.

In an interview with Digital Spy, Newman was asked if he sensed that the song had something special about it in the studio. He said, "Yeah. The guy I wrote it with (Steve Booker), we turned around and had massive grins on our faces thinking, 'There's something skilful here'. Only you just never know how skilful it is, y'all know?".
Newman was also asked if it was difficult to write the lyrics about love and intermission-up, he said, "No, information technology'due south the only place where I really open up to somebody, through my music. I'm producing [the anthology] and writing it, it's expert. I like to keep a agree of everything".[2]
With the chord progression of Gm—Bb—Dm—C, the song is written in the primal of G Dorian. The key signature is in D pocket-size. Both are modes of F major, of which either one can be used as the tonic note/chord, because, even so, the F major chord is not nowadays in the song.[3]
Music video [edit]
Ii music videos, both with elements of Northern soul dancing, accept been released for "Beloved Me Once more". One version[four] directed past Vaughan Arnell is based on the archetype love story of Romeo and Juliet.[5] The woman in the video, Juliet, is French actress Margaux Billard, carefully watched over by her blood brother, Tybalt, played by Joseph Steyne. The Romeo, is British model Tommy-Lee Winkworth. "Love Me Once again" was featured on the soundtrack of video game FIFA 14,[eight] giving it a cult status among FIFA fans, as well equally the Federation'due south #WorldCupAtHome series, which opened FIFA's archive during the COVID-19 pandemic. It also appeared in the closing credits of the 2014 science fiction film, Border of Tomorrow, starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. The vocal was too featured on the American TV serial, Suits in the episode, "Buried Secrets", which aired on half-dozen March 2014, and in the opening scenes of the first episode of season 4, "One-2-Three Go", which aired xi June 2014. "Beloved Me Again" is also a playable song in Simply Dance 2015. The vocal was also used equally the theme to the tv evidence Whiskey Condescending which debuted in February 2019 and ended in May after one season.[9] In August 2020 and May 2021 it was used in Tv and radio adverts for National Rails.
The French channel TF6 also used this song to shutdown its channel.
